We are looking forward to a successful conference in SA in 2023
WIOA is returning to Murray Bridge for the South Australian Conference & Expo.
The second WIOA South Australian Conference & Expo received good support from operators in South Australia and suppliers to the industry with nearly 200 individuals meeting in Murray Bridge.
Consider sharing your stories with other water professionals by presenting at this important event.
Conference Goals
- Distribution of the latest “operational” technical and research-based information through platform and poster presentations.
- Update of knowledge and skills plus network development by operations staff through interaction with fellow Water Industry employees.
- Provision of opportunities to view and discuss the latest advances in technical equipment and systems with suppliers and trade consultants.
This event is different to all other WIOA Conference & Exhibitions
- Equivalent time for delegates of a one day conference
- Estimated to attract between 50-70 delegates and 50-70 exhibitors
- Limited number of exhibition sites – carry in displays only
- Starts lunch time Wednesday and finishes lunch time Thursday
Congratulations to the team who made the conference happen, as the first of its kind in South Australia I found it an invigorating and positive experience, which highlighted the benefits of idea and experience sharing and the water industries willingness to engage with these activities in South Australia.

The Murray Bridge Racing Club was established in 1899, and held its first race meeting at the Maurice Road location in 1914.
The new Gifford Hill Racecourse development at Murray Bridge opened early 2019 with a new $20 million Function Centre and Race Day Facilities.
